Welcome my name is Josephine Valdes Sarcinello, I’m a Cuban-Sicilian-American Artist Cosmetologist.  I’m the proud owner of JVVS Beauty.  My relationship with art and beauty starts very early, my mother being a hairstylist, an artist and single mom; I had the privilege of growing up surrounded by creativity and in salons.  My first job was at thirteen years old as a Jr. assistant where I offered shampoos and mixed colors.  In the eleven years since then i have apprenticed at many salons, all different environments and clientele, from New York City to Miami. 

I offer gentle guidance for anyone dedicated to their natural hair texture. I am very passionate  about educating myself and my clients on healthy hair practices while curating an at-home regiment that best suits their needs, free of judgement.

I have empowered many of my clients to embrace their natural texture, whether working with their current hair canvas or starting fresh with a big chop.  I also enjoy working with color and I always encourage to step out of the box with creative and edgy styles to help you achieve your dram look!  When I’m not working on hair, i tap in a little deeper to my artistic background with one-of-a-kind manicures by incorporating hand painted images.  I’m particularly proud of my ongoing album artwork nail art series that can be found in the gallery page along with my other work I’ve done over the years.  No matter where you are in your hair journey, if you’re looking for the perfect manicure for a special occasion or if you’re just looking to treat yourself, I assure you that I will have your back and make you feel so special and cared for in my chair!
